On 16th February 2022 we had a RAWWRSOME time at the Lyceum Theatre watching the Lion King. We had approximately 40 of Caring Hearts family attend including staff, foster carers and young people. Our young people were so well behaved despite it being the first theatre trip for many. Staff even received some comments about how impressed carers were with young people they met on the day who were polite and courteous. Well done young people! As for the carers, there was some monkeying around going on.
The show was full of inspiring moments with creative and cultural expressions of the performing arts. However, one inspirational quote which stuck with me is the following:
The wise old baboon Rafiki said “The past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it”.
Wise words indeed.
